Sneak Peek Wedding | Erin & Clay | Destination Wedding Photographer

So, this weekend my husband assisted me for the first time as my gear guy, go-to-guy, and 3rd shooter. It was so great to have him be apart of something I absolutley love to do! I love creating and capturing these loving moments between loving couples especially when you are with your loved one as well! And so, my hubby, my best buddy Charla and I took off Saturday EARLY morning to head to Blythe. Now of course this is not considered the typical destination wedding spot nor really a destination of many sorts, but the vast skies and land made for amazing captures! So here's a teaser of our desert trip of fun-filled love!!! Congrats Clay & Erin!

Smiles perfected!!!!

OK, so I have shot the Gardner family now 4 times in the last 2 years. The children have grown in the blink of an eye! Personalities have definitely developed! One more development along the way is the ability to smile 'naturally' in front of the camera!

This session, both Aaron and Gracee impressed me so; they found their smiles!

Honestly, it is a tad difficult for many to smile like they would from a laugh, a fun moment, a sweet thought when place in front of a camera.

This has been a known challenge for Aaron and his sweet, adorable daughter Gracee....

but this time they both found their smiles!!!!

I was so excited to shoot and check my LCD screen, then see real, natural smiles!

What a great moment! This thrilled me so much, that our 30 minute session turned into an hour...

all because of a smile!

Oh and also because I just loved the whole day, the weather, the company, the location (Ma n Pa's Market), the company kept, and most of all- the smiles!!!!

Holidays are here and there is no turning back....

A much as we may not want to accept it- the holidays have begun again!It's a time of many parties, too much shopping, many family gatherings, much indulging... but along with all that... we have a great amount laughs, a fabulous time of sharing, great moments of watching our lil ones experience everything with eyes fresh and open... we are graced with the visions of dancing sugar plum dreams from of our past to the presence of our future! So get ready all 2009 is just about to be experienced, played and journaled in out minds (and social networks)!
